We’ve spent over two decades working across BIM delivery, standards, and implementation spanning Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Over time, we noticed how often consulting got in its own way — complicated frameworks, unclear outcomes, and not enough focus on the people doing the work.
When the company we worked for was sold, we had a choice: wait for the next roles to arrive, or build something better. That’s how Frank BIM Consulting Pty Ltd began — as a way to keep supporting the clients we value, and as a chance to reimagine consulting from the ground up.
Today, we prioritise clarity, practicality, and partnership. We keep things simple without dumbing them down. We align standards with deliverables. We help teams build capability, not dependency. In short: we make BIM work for you.
A door closed — many windows opened. Through them, we’re delivering BIM the way it should be: frank, focused, and fit for purpose.
Meet the team
Mark Cranitch - Director
Mark is the founder of Frank BIM Consulting Pty Ltd, with 10+ years in the BIM industry across major software vendors and resellers. Specialising in project delivery and consulting services, Mark has managed large-scale business transformation initiatives and understands the realities—and complexities—of consulting.
Frank BIM Consulting was created to make access to information simpler and to provide frank, honest advice that delivers real outcomes. Outside work, Mark enjoys photography and scuba diving—ideally at the same time.

Ant Sheward - Director
Ant started his career in architecture, moving from CAD and Revit Technician roles into BIM consulting. Having worked across the UK and Australia with architects, contractors, and manufacturers, he has seen where the industry struggles — and how clear, practical solutions can make a real difference.
You’ll often find Ant in the gym, where he brings the same focus and structure to fitness that he applies to BIM. He’s passionate about helping clients solve challenges, unlock the real value of BIM, and save time through smarter, simpler workflows.
